Royal Ambulance’s Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation of its medical transport services. This service allows individuals requiring medical attention to be transported within their community and between medical facilities. This includes transportation between hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and independent treatment facilities (such as those offering dialysis or radiation treatment). By providing safe transport between such facilities, Royal aids the patient in receiving all beneficial medical treatments, regardless of location.
Each BLS medical transport team is comprised of two highly skilled EMT's who deliver professional, compassionate care to every patients being transported. The transport unit comes with a top of the line Ferno gurney and is fully stocked with essential medical supplies including: oxygen, Automated External Defibrillators (AED's), supplies for splinting and bandaging, suction units, cervical collars, spine boards, cold packs, emergency thermal blankets and other items required for immediate medical intervention.
In addition to providing patients with necessary medical equipment and care, Royal is committed to ensuring the total comfort of every patient. Along with exceptionally personal and compassionate care, Royal provides our patients with extra touches such as blankets, pillows and beanie babies. Royal also offer dialysis and radiation programs to meet all our patients medical needs.
