Continuous Quality Improvement is a program of systematic evaluation utilized by companies to ensure excellence. Rather than creating an environment to place blame by asking “Who caused this to happen?”, CQI instead asks, “What is wrong with the process that caused this to happen and what can be done to improve the system?” By doing so, CQI allows Royal to continuously work to improve upon existing systems to ensure constant increase in quality care.
At Royal, our quality improvement programs have several components. We incorporate case reviews, evaluations of indicators and tracking and evaluation of the program. CQI incorporates the scientific method of serial experimentation to evaluate concerns and recognize excellence.
Through the incorporation of CQI, Royal strives to create a working environment which fosters constant improvement in the quality of the services we provide.
