Royal Ambulance EMTs Honored with California Ambulance Association’s “Stars of Life” Award

Santa Clara, CA, April 12, 2011—Twenty seven paramedics, EMTs and emergency medical professionals from across the state of California are being recognized as Stars of Life at the State Capitol. Among them are John Thane, Operations Supervisor and Lead Training Officer for Royal Ambulance and Christopher Hern, Royal Ambulance EMT. Thane and Hern are being honored for their commitment and dedication to patient care and exemplary leadership skills. Their performance record, consistent professionalism and commitment to patient care and their community demonstrates that they have stood out among their peers as the best of the best among California private ambulance providers.

“Participating in the annual Stars of Life celebration is very important to us as an organization” said Steve Grau, president and founder of Royal Ambulance. “It gives us another opportunity to acknowledge and honor our hardworking and dedicated EMTs and Supervisors, and reflects Royal Ambulance’s commitment to employee development, recognition and personal growth”.

The Stars of Life celebration, sponsored by the California Ambulance Association aims to bring individual recognition and awareness of the lifesaving care delivered by these EMS professionals twenty-four hours a day. During the event, the Stars will be presented with a Star of Life medal, and attend a luncheon and dinner where they will be personally commended for their achievements. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to share their life-saving stories and deliver important first-hand information regarding the essential service provided by Royal Ambulance, one of California’s top private ambulance providers.
